Iltaco Foods is a Chicago company, through and through. Established in 1927 and originally named Illinois Tamale Company (IL-Ta-Co), we supplied tamales to the old push cart vendors in the financial district of Chicago, and quickly became known for the most delicious tamales in the business. Through four generations of hard work and a passion for good food, our family-run business now distributes products in 38 states across the United States. Sweet home Chicago is exactly that for Iltaco and we take great pride in sharing a piece of our heritage with the rest of the country.
