Quality Snack Foods, Inc. was started in 1986 in the stockyards area of Chicago, Illinois. The company was founded to manfacture pork rinds and crackling pellets. In 1990 we moved to our second location in Chicago starting Prairieland Foods giving the company a total of more than 90 years experience in the meat and pork rind industry. The company has since moved again in 2008 to a new 75,000 sq ft state of the art facility in Alsip, Illinois. Here we significantly increased our production capabilities where we manufacture pork rinds, wheat products and pre-cooked bacon for the food service industry.
