AT THE ANDERSON FARM, we raise the most luscious, lip-smackin' lamb you've ever sunk your teeth into. The lambs are raised naturally on grass and mother's milk with no artificial hormones, steroids or unnecessary antibiotics. That's why they taste so good!
TO HELP YOU PLAN, a typical bundle of whole lamb generally includes:
2 packages leg of lamb,
2 packages rack of lamb,
5 packages of lamb chops,
2 packages of lamb ribs,
4 packages of lamb cubes,
2 packages of ground lamb,
2 packages of lamb steaks,
2 packages of lamb shanks (front legs),
1 package each of liver and tongue.
IS THE MEAT GOVERNMENT INSPECTED? Yes. Freezer lamb is USDA inspected, cut, double-wrapped, frozen, and sold as a bundle.
DO I HAVE ROOM TO STORE A LAMB? Yes. A typical refrigerator freezer compartment can store 2 or 3 lamb bundles. Each bundle requires less than 11/2 cubic feet of space.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? Freezer lamb sells for $7.99 per pound. Each bundle weighs approximately 25 to 35 pounds. Due to market fluctuations prices are subject to change without notice.
WE ARE ENVIRO-FRIENDLY and just plain friendly. We love it when folks stop over for a farm tour and buy a lamb.
