About Us
The Five Points Community Farm Market is a project of the Five Points Partnership, a 501-c-3 non-profit formed in 2001. Over the years, the Market has grown into a thriving community center, employing eleven part time Market Associates, offering local produce from over 40 area farmers and serving up healthy eats from the Get Fresh Cafe (which was featured in a segment of Food Networkas Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. The Farm Market operates two Mobile Farm Markets - one that focuses on food deserts and the other on teens; offers a variety of workshops; presents special events such as cooking classes, singer/songwriter nights, wine tastings and local artist shows; film nights featuring a variety of films related to sustainable living practices and food education; and serves as a community gathering place.
